This is the first we have heard

of his particular piracy which has not

attracted much attention as no British interest s

were involved. The Cantonese have already taken

vigorous action aginst the base of these

particular pirates. It will be observed that

suggested that what the pirates were actually after wes Opium being smuggled from

Hong Kong to Indo-China. We need not, however,

trouble ourselves about thinspect of the mater

as there is no evilence to support it except the

apparent lick of any other loot sufficiently

valuable to make the piracy worth while.
